Glades Area ARC Services

People with developmental delays can choose to do more today than ever before. Our job at the ARC is to make sure that people know their choices, and help them make the best one. Sometimes it takes hard work to make that choice a reality.

Men and Women, who twenty years ago could expect to spend their lives in state institutions, are today in their own homes (helped by ARC's supported living coach), after developing skills and habits for success learned at the ARC's adult day programs.

Even if there is no job for someone, the ARC is commited to getting people involved in their community, and getting the community involved with them.

Who Is Eligible?

Anyone 18 years of age or older who:
1) Is a client of Florida Department of Children and Families
2) Wants to be a part of the community
3) Wants to come to Arc
